About Clear Motion Studios
Clear Motion Studios is an animation-only studio built exclusively for recruitment and staffing agencies. We create animated vacancy videos, employer brand content and candidate journey explainers for recruitment and staffing agencies worldwide. Recruitment is our only focus.
Animation only. We made a deliberate decision to focus exclusively on animated video because it allows faster production, consistent quality, easier scaling across multiple roles, and lower costs than live-action filming. Animation also removes the logistical complexity of shooting on location, meaning we can turn around vacancy videos far more quickly.
We produce three core styles: Whiteboard Animation (clean, clear, cost-effective, ideal for vacancy films and candidate explainers at volume), 2D Explainer Animation (branded character animation with stronger visuals and storytelling), and Premium Motion Graphics (cinematic quality for senior appointments, retained mandates and high-priority employer brand campaigns).
We work across all recruitment sectors including engineering, healthcare, logistics, construction, technology, finance, executive search, graduate recruitment and general staffing. Because our animation formats are flexible, they work equally well for a healthcare nurse vacancy as they do for a C-suite retained search.
Our core focus is recruitment and staffing agencies, but we also work with recruitment technology platforms and HR software providers whose products are aimed at the hiring and staffing space. If your business serves recruiters or candidates in some way, get in touch and we can discuss whether our animation styles are a good fit.
Animation lets us communicate a role, a brand or a process clearly without the cost, scheduling and location constraints of filming. It also gives us full creative control over branding, pacing and visual consistency in every video, and because each project builds on your reusable template, follow-up videos are produced faster and more affordably than repeating a live-action shoot for every role would allow.
🎬
Production Process
Every project follows eight stages, each approved before moving to the next: Discovery Call → Script → Storyboard → Style Frames → Voiceover → Animation → Sound and Music → Final Delivery. Nothing progresses until the previous stage is signed off by you. This ensures there are no surprises and the final video matches your brief exactly.
We will send you a brief questionnaire after the discovery call. Typically we need the job title and key role details, target candidate profile, company or client branding guidelines, any must-use wording, and the primary action you want candidates to take after watching. The more detail you provide, the faster the script and storyboard stages move.
We write the script for you based on the brief and questionnaire. You review every word, provide feedback, and we refine until you are completely satisfied. If you prefer to supply a script, we can work with that too. Nothing proceeds to storyboard until the script is fully approved.
Most recruitment videos work best at 30 to 60 seconds. The goal is to capture attention quickly, explain the opportunity clearly and move the candidate to the next step before they scroll past. Longer formats, up to 90 seconds, can work well for employer brand stories or onboarding explainers where more depth is needed.
Yes. We present a curated selection of professional voiceover artists matched to your brand tone, target audience and video style. You listen to samples and choose the voice that fits best. We record and return for your sign-off before animation begins.
Every video is designed to your brand rather than pulled from a template library. During the style frames stage, we present illustration options based on your brand guidelines and the tone you want to achieve, and you approve the direction before animation begins.
Yes. All videos are captioned for silent autoplay as standard, since most social platforms default to sound off. If you need the video voiced or subtitled in a language other than English, let us know at the brief stage and we will quote this as part of the project.

Revisions
Two rounds of revisions are included at each production stage, including script, storyboard, style frames, voiceover and animation. A revision round means you provide a consolidated list of changes in writing and we apply them in one pass. Additional revision rounds beyond those included can be arranged and will be quoted separately based on the work required.
Changes to a stage that has already been approved and moved forward will incur additional costs, as production work already completed will need to be reworked. This is why we take the approval process seriously at each stage. We always recommend reviewing carefully before sign-off to avoid this situation.
Feedback must be submitted in writing by email as a consolidated list of changes. We ask that all feedback from any stakeholders on your side is collated into a single document before submission. This keeps the process clean, fast and avoids conflicting instructions arriving in multiple messages.
No. A revision round is defined by submission, not by how many people contributed to it. As long as all feedback is consolidated into a single written list and submitted together, that counts as one round, regardless of how many stakeholders were involved.
Yes, though this may incur an additional cost since it involves re-recording. We recommend listening carefully to voice samples and confirming your choice before recording begins to avoid this. If you are unsure, we are happy to offer a second opinion before you commit to a voice.

Timelines and Turnaround
Standard production for a 30 to 60 second video typically takes 4 to 8 weeks from brief to final delivery. This timeline depends on how quickly each stage is reviewed and approved on your side. Delays in feedback extend the timeline. Faster approvals mean faster delivery.
The 2 to 3 day turnaround is available exclusively to clients who already have a branded video template produced by Clear Motion Studios. Because the visual style, branding, voiceover and format are already established, each new vacancy video simply requires the role-specific details to be updated, removing the need to go through all eight production stages from scratch.
If a project is paused at your request or due to delayed feedback for more than 30 consecutive days, a restart fee may apply when production resumes. We will always communicate clearly before applying any additional charge. To keep timelines on track we recommend nominating a single point of contact on your side who can consolidate feedback and approve stages promptly.
Yes. Once your branded template is in place, multiple role-specific videos can be produced in parallel rather than one after another, which is one of the main advantages of a monthly retainer package for agencies with several vacancies live at once.
Yes, standard timelines can extend slightly during peak holiday periods when both our team and client stakeholders are less available for approvals. We will always flag this in advance if it affects your specific project timeline.

Ownership and Rights
Upon receipt of full payment, the final delivered video file is owned entirely by the client, the recruitment or staffing agency. You are free to use it across all commercial channels including job boards, LinkedIn, your website, paid advertising, social media and email campaigns with no restrictions or ongoing licensing fees.
However, all templates, working copies, draft files, source files and intermediate production assets remain the intellectual property of Clear Motion Studios. Raw project files are not transferred to the client unless explicitly agreed in writing and included in the project quotation as a separate deliverable. Until full payment is received, all work product remains the property of Clear Motion Studios.

Yes. Once full payment is received, you have full commercial usage rights across all platforms, including LinkedIn, job boards, your website, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, paid advertising and email campaigns. There are no platform restrictions, geographic limits or time-based licensing conditions. The video is yours to use however and wherever you choose.
We reserve the right to display completed videos in our portfolio and marketing materials as examples of our work. If you require confidentiality, for example for a sensitive retained search, please notify us in writing before production commences and we will exclude your video from our portfolio.
Any videos already delivered and paid for remain yours to keep and use indefinitely. Ending a retainer only affects future production. Your branded template also remains usable as a reference, although further vacancy videos using it would need to be arranged as a new project or retainer.
We ask that you do not edit the finished animation file itself, as this can affect brand consistency and quality. However, you are welcome to trim, caption or repurpose clips for different platforms using the delivered formats, and we are always happy to produce additional cuts if you need something specific.

Pricing and Payment
The branded template, your first video, starts from $4,995. This is a one-time fee. Whiteboard animation is the most affordable style. 2D Explainer and Premium Motion Graphics are priced higher depending on complexity and length. Monthly retainer packages for ongoing volume start from $4,500 per month for 3 videos, $6,500 for 5 videos and $12,500 for 10 videos. All prices are starting prices and exclude VAT.
A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total project fee is required before production begins. The remaining 50% is due upon delivery of the final approved video. Final files are not released until all outstanding payments are received in full. Invoices are due within 14 days of issue. Monthly retainers are billed in advance each month.
All prices shown are exclusive of VAT where applicable. VAT will be applied at the prevailing rate for clients in VAT-registered jurisdictions. Please check your applicable rate with your accountant. Clients outside VAT-applicable territories should confirm their position before project commencement.
Our retainer packages already offer a lower cost per video compared with one-off production, which is the main way agencies reduce their overall cost. Beyond that, any additional arrangements would be discussed directly and confirmed in writing before a project begins.
All prices on our website are shown in USD. For clients who prefer to be invoiced in a different currency, such as GBP or EUR, this can usually be arranged by agreement, with payment converted at the prevailing exchange rate at the time of invoicing.

Retainers and Contracts
Yes. All monthly retainer packages are fixed-term contracts with a minimum initial term of 3 months. This applies to every retainer tier and is not available on a rolling month-to-month basis at any point. Retainers are billed monthly in advance throughout the term. Towards the end of your term we will discuss renewing for a further period based on your ongoing needs.
Yes. We can discuss adjusting your monthly volume with one month's notice, within your current fixed term. Moving to a higher tier is typically straightforward. Moving to a lower tier may take effect from the following billing period. Please speak to us directly to arrange any package changes.
Unused videos in a given month do not automatically roll over. If you anticipate a quieter month, please discuss this with us in advance. We will work with you to find a practical arrangement wherever possible. Our goal is a long-term relationship that works commercially for your agency.
Retainer packages are built around standard vacancy-style videos. If you need something outside that scope, such as a longer employer brand film, we will quote this separately rather than counting it against your monthly allocation, since it requires more production time.
This can be discussed on a case by case basis, but please note your retainer is a fixed-term contract and pausing is not automatic. Speak to us as early as possible if you anticipate a quiet period so we can find a workable arrangement together.
🔒
Confidentiality
Yes. All vacancy details, client information and briefing materials are treated as strictly confidential. We do not share, sell or disclose client information to any third party. Our production process and delivery model are also proprietary and are not disclosed to clients or external parties outside of what is required to complete the work.
Yes. If you require your videos to be kept out of our portfolio, for example for a confidential retained assignment or a client who has not approved external use, please notify us in writing before production begins. We will honour all confidentiality requests made prior to project commencement.
Yes. We are happy to sign a mutual non-disclosure agreement before any confidential information is shared, particularly for retained search assignments or sensitive employer brand projects. Just let us know at the enquiry stage and we will arrange this before your discovery call if needed.
Briefing documents, scripts and project files are stored securely and only accessed by those directly working on your project. We do not use client information for any purpose beyond delivering the agreed video.
💼
Sectors and Specialisms
Yes. We have produced videos across engineering, healthcare, logistics, construction, technology, finance and executive search, among others. Because our process starts with a proper discovery conversation, we take the time to understand sector-specific language and priorities rather than applying a generic template.
Yes, though the tone and pacing usually differ. Entry-level and high-volume roles often suit a punchier, faster-paced whiteboard or 2D style, while senior and executive search videos tend to lean toward the more polished, character-led feel of Premium Motion Graphics. We will recommend the right fit during your discovery call.
🚀
Getting Started
On the call we will ask about your agency, your typical vacancies, your target candidates and what you are trying to achieve with video. We will recommend the right animation style, discuss the template approach and give you an honest view on timelines and costs. After the call we will follow up with a written proposal or quote for your review. No obligation at any stage.
Yes. Most clients start with the branded template, a single video that becomes the foundation for all future content. There is no obligation to move to a monthly retainer after the template is complete. Many agencies choose to see how the first video performs before committing to a retainer term, and that is a perfectly sensible approach.
Yes. Clear Motion Studios works with recruitment and staffing agencies worldwide. All production is managed remotely, and all client communication, approvals and deliveries are handled digitally, so location is never a barrier to working together.
Yes. If you are a marketing agency or consultant managing communications on behalf of a recruitment or staffing client, we are happy to work through you as the point of contact, provided the end client is a recruitment or staffing business.
That is exactly what the discovery call is for. Tell us about your agency, your typical roles and your audience, and we will recommend the style, whiteboard, 2D explainer or Premium Motion Graphics, that best fits your goals and budget. There is no obligation to decide in advance.
